After a professional career in the automotive retail business Aude and Emmanuel Hacquart literally felt under the charm of these old stones. In 2018, they decide to invest in the high range charming hotel trade business. They entrust Catherine and Jean-Luc Nys with continuing to develop the art of hospitality which has built the notoriety of La Ferme de la Huppe for several years.
A successful renovation
As it was made in Provencal architecture The hotel is built as was customary in Provence around a courtyard which gives access to the ten hotel rooms arranged in two levels.In 2007, it has been undertook major renovations: the kitchen were fully renovated, enlarged gardens, modernized rooms decorated in a Provencal style sober and timeless, expanded public areas… Systematically favoring the use of old materials and maintaining the original openings, the original spirit of this farmhouse built around 1776 has been fully preserved while bringing all the comfort expected from a modern hotel.The room “la cuisine” is now specially adapted for disabled guests.

Great care is given to the breakfast service, dressed as a buffet of , local products ; pastries, cheeses and delis. It is served on the terrace on beautiful sunny days.
For lunch, we offer a variety of salads and light menu dishes, as well as drinks and refreshments on Tuesday to Friday from 12:30 to 02:00pm
Our chef aim at enchanting you five days a week from April to October . for dinner from 7:00pm to 9:00pm – last order time.
You will have a choice between our gourmet menu de “La Huppe” , which allies creativity and the search for tasteful flavors and a “Panier du Chef ” menu, inspired by local and traditional french Cuisine.
A relaxing atmosphere and intimacy
” La Ferme de la Huppe” is located in the plain of Gordes, in the countryside near the hamlet of “Les Pourquiers”, with a beautiful view over the Luberon and the old village of Gordes. There prevails a very special atmosphere of calm and serenity. The name of hoopoe “upupa” in Latin has been given because previously there was an important nest of these birds in the trunk of the old mulberry three at the entrance of the restaurant.
